Gold deals on Moscow Exchange fall 7% to 5.3 tns in Jan–Feb

MOSCOW, Mar 2 (PRIME) -- The physical volume of deals with gold on the Moscow Exchange fell 5.3% on the year to 5.3 tonnes in January–February, the exchange said in a statement Friday.

The amount of deals with silver surged to 2,461 kilograms in the period from 140 kilograms in the same period of 2017.

In monetary terms, gold and silver deals amounted to 13 billion rubles in the period, down from 13.3 billion rubles in January–February 2017.
